Hackney is officially joining the national Year of Reading, kicking things off in January with a new Hackney Libraries Reading Charter!

All year we will showcase our different programmes designed to get all ages reading – from little ones right up to adults needing literacy help – plus the books in different languages we provide in our libraries, celebrating the wonderful diversity of Hackney’s community.
